Flavors of Austin 2012 Recap

To help kick off MS Awareness Month, 1977 Heisman Trophy Award winner and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Earl Campbell hosted the inaugural Flavors of Austin, an exclusive charity event to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Over 400 guests attended the 2011 JBowl bowling party which benefited Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research and foster teens.  Co-hosts and Chargers defensive teammates Jacques Cesaire and Quentin Jammer along with Honoary Chair Darren Bennett began the evening by addressing each bowling team and explaining why the event was needed.

The Campbell family, representatives from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Pro Player Foundation, gathered at The Headliners Club in Austin, Texas to reveal The Unstoppable Earl Campbell autographed lithograph. This limited edition piece, depicting Heisman Trophy Award winner Earl Campbell pictured with famous Looney Tunes characters, will be sold to raise awareness for MS.  Earl’s son, Tyler, was diagnosed with MS in 2007, and a portion of the proceeds from the artwork will benefit The National MS Society, in honor of Tyler’s diagnosis.

Will Bennett Coaches Football at La Costa High School

Will Bennett, son of former NFL Punter and Pro Player Foundation President Darren Bennett is featured in this NBC San Diego video as the honarary Special Teams coach for La Costa High School's football team.  Will was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystropy in 2003, but while his mobility has been limited, his ability to coach football and teach punting, has never been greater.  "Technique, contact, follow through, even the wind, he is always able to help us out, it's the best," says one player of Wills teaching.

91X Fest Was A HUGE Success!

The Pro Player Foundation would like to thank everyone that came out to the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater for the 2011 91X Fest!  We met so many great people at the event, fans of Quentin Jammer, our cause, football and rock music.  The night was a complete success as we raised awareness for the Jammer Family Foundation.

Earl Campbell Partners with National MS Society

Warner Bros. Limited Edition Animation Art to benefit MS

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 26, 2011 –This fall, football legend Earl Campbell will return to the football field by playing front and center in a personally-signed, custom-framed Animation Art Limited Edition piece to be released through Warner Bros. This limited-edition lithograph will feature Campbell with the famous Warner Bros. characters and will raise funds in honor of his son, Tyler Campbell, through the Pro Player Foundation in partnership with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
